What is a chair massage?  A Chair Massage is a massage given in a Massage Chair with clothes on

What is a table massage? A Table Massage is a massage given on A MASSAGE TABLE with most of your clothes off but you will be laying underneath a sheet and all of your limbs will be draped for privacy. Table Massages during sporting events are usually done with clothes on.

Why do people get massages? Most people get a massage for relaxion or luxury but receiving a massage is actually a healthy choice

What are the benefits of getting a massage?
Massage reduces stress and relaxation, reduces pain, tension and stress, improves blood flow, energy and alertness, lowers heart rate and blood pressure and gives you a sense of well-being; just to name a few

How often should I get a massage?
At least once a month but as often as you like

Should I take off my underwear before my table massage?
Its left up to you because you will be DRAPED up for your entire massage session

What type of massage modalities do you offer?
Swedish/Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, HotStone Massage, Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage (Coming Soon) Body Wraps

Should I shower before I receive my table massage?
It’s always good to shower before your massage to help your muscles relax more

How can I better assist the arrival of my therapist at my home or business?
Communicate-if needed just incase your therapist gets lost or confused upon arriving, set aside the space they would need. Giving them landmarks are ALWAYS a great idea. Offering your Provider BOTTLE water helps as well

If my PROVIDER is late for my massage appointment, will I get my FULL time?
Yes, no matter the time of arrival of PROVIDER you will get your desired amount of time you requested

Are all Therapist Licensed and Certified? Yes. All therapists are Board Certified & Licensed through Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations

Should I tell my therapist if I have a rash, sore or wart? For their protection–please make therapist aware so they can AVOID that area

What should I do if I am aroused during my session?  It is a natural response. Just to be clear, we do have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY to any sexual advances or inappropriate touching is grounds for immediate termination of your session (Refer to our Policy)

How can I make the best of my massage session?
Let your therapist know the areas of focus, COMMUNICATE with your therapist on pressure, take deep breaths throughout your session & RELAX.

How can I tip my therapist? You can TIP your therapist directly or through our FORM of payment

How long should my massage session last? It all depends on which session you’ve chosen

How far in advance should I schedule my sessions? The sooner you feel like you’re in need of a massage, reach out to us and we will check our therapists schedule and coordinate times that fits the both of you

Do you offer events using chair or table massage?  We offer both but depends on the type of event. Pricing differs.

How much working space would my therapist need to setup? Usually about the size of a full-size mattress should be enough space for table set-up and walking space

How can I get this set up at my job as Health and Wellness for OUR employees? Give us the Human Resource or contact person information

How can a massage help me at work? Massage at work has been proven to help give you a better mood easing stressed, being more productive–along with so many other benefits

How is Corporate Massage paid for?
Employers usually pay for Employees as Incentives. We also accept Self-Pay from Employees, FSA & HSA depending on the plan you have. After-Pay is available as well.

How can I schedule my employees for their sessions?  Contact US. We will have a system where they can be scheduled for a certain time or make schedule available for WALK-IN basis

Is there a deposit I should make to secure my appointment?    Yes, most all appointments are SECURED through a deposit–ALL PAYMENTS must be made in full no later than 1- week prior to services unless APPROVED by management.

Can I get a massage while I am pregnant? You sure can. We will relax you with pillows and allow you to lay on your side

Do my Therapist sanitize or wash their hands between clients? Yes, depending on the environment, our Licensed Practitioners are required to sanitize or wash their hands with soap and warm water & disinfect areas between each client

How will I feel after my massage? You will definitely feel the difference. Everyone feel different results.

What are your payment Options? We are currently accepting Credit Card, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal & Check Payments, After-Pay options, FSA & HSA.

What is your cancellation policy? All Therapists work on a scheduled time. We’d ask you to cancel at least 24-hours prior to your appointment—Non-Refundable If appointments aren’t cancelled within that time frame unless approved by MANAGEMENT unless you choose to re-schedule

MOBILE MASSAGE THERAPY CONSENT RELEASE of LIABILITY WAIVER

By reading Graceful Therapy, LLC LIABILITY WAIVER, I am confirming that I recognize that there may be inherent risks associated with using certain equipment, utilizing, Graceful Therapy LLC (the mobile massage company) tools, lotions, massage cups, hot stones or even participating in programs and/or receiving treatments by our Practitioners.

I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for my own health; that Graceful Therapy LLC, their Associates and/or Technicians or Practitioners or Vendors cannot be expected to diagnose and/or treat individual health problems. 

I understand that I don’t have any contagious conditions that may put my massage therapist or other clients at risk and I am responsible for discussing any questions that I may have concerning my health conditions (if any) throughout any program or treatment through Graceful Therapy LLC and should health-related symptoms occur I will cease my participation and inform Graceful Therapy, LLC personnel of the symptoms

In the event that I have reason to believe that medical clearance must be obtained prior to participation in any Spa treatments, therapies, steams, facials, lotions, nail or hair treatments or Spa equipment, I agree to first consult a physician prior to the commencement of any program, treatment, or activity.

By voluntarily choosing to receive our (Graceful Therapy, LLC) treatments 

and/or participate in our activities and programs.  I warrant this to the best of my knowledge, that I have no disability, impairment, or ailment that prevents me from receiving such treatments and/or engaging in such participation.

Consequently, in light of the foregoing. I hereby release release Graceful Therapy, LLC and its affiliates, owners, members, officers, employees, agents, vendors, successors and assigns and waive any and all claims, liabilities, property damages, physical damages or personal injuries that I may receive directly or indirectly from receiving Mobile Massage Related treatments or participating in the programs or activities offered by Graceful Therapy, LLC

Massage Guidelines and Expectations

We schedule our appointments so that each client receives the right amount of time to be seen by our Professional Practitioners. It is very important that you keep your appointment so that your massage session can start at the time you requested.

PAYMENTS: FULL payment must be received no later than 24-hour prior to massage session to ensure that appointment has been locked in for your special day.

Return Check Fees:

There will be $25 Return Check Fees on any return checks. Fees must be made within 7 days of return check. Please make arrangements to clear any fees within that time frame.

AFTER-PAY PAYMENTS: We know that everyone deserve health and wellness, so to give everyone an opportunity to participate in our massage sessions and/or treatment plan(s) we have made this available to your advantage. You would have to reach out to AFTER PAY department and they usually approve up to $2500,00 per person. Client would have to use the digital Credit Card number that they provide you.

FSA & HSA: We welcome Flexible Spending Accounts and/or Health Savings Accounts. If you are unsure, please check with your HR or Insurance Provider.

APPOINTMENTS: Sessions will Begin and End at the TIME that you originally requested. For example: 1pm-60 min massage session. Approximately 2 ½ Mins Set up for ARRIVAL 2 ½ Mins BREAKDOWN. Practitioner hands should be on client no later than that time. END TIME: 1:55PM.

CANCELLATIONS:Clients must cancel any appointments at least 24 hours or MORE in advance to avoid FEES. If client has already paid prior to 24 hours, they can take that moment to reschedule or receive a refund. Any Cancellations made LESS than 24 hours prior to appointment, would be non-refundable.

RESCHEDULE:  Clients must reschedule any appointments at least 24 hours or more prior to appointment. Client will be charged if its less than 24 hours prior to appointment.

NO SHOWS: All No-Shows will be charged FULL PRICE for missed appointments.

EMERGENCY: We understand that emergencies do happen and there is nothing that we can do about it. We will waive EMERGENCY appointments, 1 per every 6 months.

MINORS and MASSAGE:

No one under 18 is allowed to book a service. We Require a Parent to be present during and while  the massage is being performed

CLIENT/THERAPIST RUNNING LATE

If you are running late please reach out to your contact person as soon as possible to let them know your expected time of arrival. Sessions that begin late, due to client lateness, will STILL end at scheduled time and the client will be billed for the FULL session.

All Therapists traveling to their appointments and must always manage their time of arrival and departures. 

If a PRACTITIONER is running late, he/she will communicate with client and when PRACTITIONER arrive, client will receive his/her FULL session. If Therapist is unable perform entire session, client will receive a discount at that time or on NEXT massage session.

All clients will be treated with respect and dignity. Personal and Professional boundaries will be respected at all times.

GIFT CARDS & MEMBERSHIPS 

GIFT CARDS can be used towards other services that we offer as long as they are used within the time frame as discussed in the menu selection.

SHEETS: Client must provide all linens and space to accommodate table massage session. Preferably: Twin, Full or King Size Sheet Set.

SANITATION PRACTICES:All therapists must wash hands before and after each sessions

CONFIDENTIALITY & CONVERSATION: The discussion between the Massage Therapist and Client is always keep confidential. The client MAY or MAY NOT choose to talk during their session which is perfectly fine. It is Inappropriately for Therapist to discuss their personal lives with the client. We are happy to listen to your conversation and share our expertise with you. We prefer not to discuss topics of political or religious nature. We may be required to release medical records under a court record or your doctor.

DRAPING:Practitioners must keep client draped at all times to protect private areas so that client can be assured that they are in a safe and secure environment. Only the area of the body that is currently being worked on at that time should be exposed. The genital area is NEVER exposed or MASSAGED.

Drugs and Alcohol: We asked that you do not consume drugs or alcohol before your massage session, as the effects of it become heighten after a massage and causes you to not become more intoxicated. Practitioner has the right to refuse service in such cases.Harassment & Sex Misconduct Harassments are not tolerated and PRACTITIONERS have the right to TERMINATE the session at any moment if he/she feels safety is compromised in any way.  Sexual Misconduct refers to a spectrum of non consensual sexual contact and behavior including the following but not limited to: sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, stalking, indecent exposure, voyeurism, the attempt to commit an act of sexual misconduct, the threat to commit an act of sexual misconduct, the distribution of a sexual explicit photograph or video and with the intent to distress the person in the photograph or video.

Refusal of Services: If you have a cold, fever, sore throat, or ill, we have the right to refuse service to protect your interest. Getting a massage while your body is ill can make you feel worse and prolong your healing process. So, to protect you, we would ask you to wait until your recovery.

PROFESSIONALISM All therapists are State Board Certified through the state of TEXAS and are in regulation through the Texas Department of Licensing Regulation. Our Practitioners can only provide therapeutic massage and modalities that are within the scope of practice for this profession. Clients with other serious illnesses or conditions must consult with their doctor.

THERAPIST  GRATUITY

Tips are not Required but are always appreciated. The standard hospitality rate for Licensed Massage Practitioners is usually 15% to 20%. Feel free to add to your payment or give directly to your therapist.


 TIPS ON HOW TO BETTER PREPARE FOR YOUR THERAPIST

Clients are expected to be clean and have showered prior to receiving a massage. Clients are asked to avoid eating heavy meals prior to receiving full body sessions. To ensure your therapist have a pleasant journey to your location, landmarks or certain signs along the way are a great TIPS to give your Therapist so they won’t get lost.

If you have any animals or pets, we ask that you would put them up in a cage or safe area in your home so that your Practitioner will be able to move around accordingly. Having an idea with clear space set aside for your Therapist is always helpful. Offering BOTTLE water to therapist is always appreciated. It goes a long way. Make sure to communicate with your therapist on pressure or any concerns before and during massage session to make sure you have a great experience.
